Okay, so my entire life I've known that I have wanted to join the military, just not any specific branch. However, for awhile now I've set my eyes on West Point, which from my understanding is very hard to get into, and is also my main goal at the moment. I am currently a high school junior and from looking at other files of other students applying to West Point, it seems like I'm not "good" enough.

More to come

I currently have a 4.1 GPA.

I play varsity soccer as the goalkeeper (always have played goalkeeper) and run outdoor track (also varsity).
I should be getting into the National Honor Society.
Starting this year and continuing into next year I'm going to be mentoring another student and/or students at my previous elementary school.
I am getting involved in March of Dimes (The Non-Profit Organization helping children, babies, etc., with defects.) I go around getting donations from family, friends, teachers, community members, etc., and will also participate in the annual walk every year.
I also helped run a lawn mowing "business" during the summer and will continue to. (Roughly 10-12 hours a week during the summer).

There's most likely a little bit that I have missed, but from this information, what do I need to do in order to better my chances for West Point?

Thank you for any input.
