Writing: Editor-in-Chief of school literary magazine; have won a number of local, state, and national awards
Acting: Total of 14 leads throughout high school (school plays/musicals and local theater productions) Have acted in a few independent films and been in a couple of commercials, Have won numerous awards at Annual CDA (Connecticut Drama Association) Festivals, Have taught acting workshops to children
Dance: Ballet for 14 years, hip-hop for 7
Singing: Have released a CD and am on iTunes, Have been in a bunch of choirs since I was 7 years old.</p>

<p>she seems to have a “hook” maybe in the acting area. what kind of commercials was she in?
her schedule looks pretty rigorous, but she does have a couple of B’s
her ec’s look focused on the performance arts and outlets of expression like journalism, which is definitely good.
i think her chances depend on whether or not she has exceptional talent and to what degree the colleges recognize that.
she should probably send in a supplement?
yale - reach (it is for everyone)
harvard - reach (ditto)
brown - math/low reach (i’m not too familiar with how brown is in terms of the performance arts but she seems to have the academic rigor to stand a chance, and the ec’s will help)</p>
