AP: 9th grade: German (5, im fluent)-10th grade: US History (5), French (5),-11th grade: taking English Lang, Bio, and World this year (hopefully 5s, i study very well for APs, last year was basically self-study)-12th grade: Physics, Literature, Art History, and BC Calc next year
taking french course at local ivy league next year since i exhausted the curriculum at my school
Major Awards : multiple gold and silver keys for scholastic art, local art competitions with 1st and 2nd placing (multiple), major national art competition with highest award, local group exhibitions for art, one solo exhibition (!!!), selected for a permanent collection at old school, featured in student-run art magazine of local ivy league

Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): art and literary magazine (editor-in-chief), art community service (leader), school orchestra (president and cello section leader, very selective but got in freshman year), school pit orchestra (a major time commitment in the spring), strings ensemble that performs in hospitals and senior living communities (cello section leader), french honor society (member)
Job/Work Experience: commissioned by two different departments at a major ivy league university on separate occasions to do something artistic (sorry for the ambiguity), commissioned to make multiple logos for local organizations, commissioned to paint a mural in school, commissioned to design promotional materials for local adult school
Volunteer/Community service: leading a community service group, volunteers to teach local art classes, im really passionate about this!! when i was part of the group it was really weak and disorganized and ive really built it up this year! started a local art contest that got hundreds of entries, organized prizes and an exhibition for the artwork from the competition
Summer Activities: french institute for three weeks freshman year summer, three week art program sophomore year summer + artwork commissions

<p>I think you’re a high match at CMU, Cornell, and maybe NW. UChicago is a midreach. Then Yale & Princeton are mid/high reaches. </p>
