the major essay isnt that good, the other 2 should be ok.

good recs, one really good, one good. a killer one from the principal who went to cornell graduate.

chances?

p.s. i wnt to major in econ, do you think the AO's will take good recs and ap scores into consideration?

rank can kill your chances. I went to a decent, average int'l school that sends about 6 students a year to cornell (out of 75 seniors)...so your school isnt too competitive

you're trying to get into CAS? you've got an OK chance. your sat scores are solid except for that physics score. ap scores are ok, but the threes aren't gonna look so great. ecs seem good enough. you can potentially be accepted unless ur essay is actually all that bad.

I'd bet that 660 in Physics won't hold you back at all. You're other scores definately overshadow it.

you will be fine. an "average" student will be, well average. probably 500 in all of the sections of the SATs (1500 overall), top 50%of his/her class, 3.0 gpa, 500 on all SAT2s, probably no AP classes. now how do you define average?!?

well average ivy applicant who is drinking heavily. last nite i passed out on a seat cusion barely large enough for one person then i spilled instant mashed potatoes on the floor. good times.
