Chances getting into UW Madison

I'm currently a freshman at Harold Washington College in Chicago looking to transfer to UW Madison for the Fall 2014 semester.

My estimate that my GPA after fall and spring semester should be between 3.5 and 3.7. All of the classes I'm taking are transferable to Madison.

My classes:
Fall 2013 Semester-
1. Eng 101 (3 credits)
2. Fine Arts 110-Opera & the Humanities (3 credits)
3. Humanities 107- Pop Culture-Mirror of American Life (3 credits)
4. Math 140-College Algebra

Spring 2013 Semester-
1. Eng 102 (3 credits)
2. Psych 201- General Psych (3 credits)
3. Math 141- Trig (4 credits)
4. Bio 121- Bio 1- Lecture and Lab (5 credits)

Not sure if it matters, but my High School grades and scores were
GPA:3.5
ACT:27 (not too hot)
Didn't take the SAT

If I'm denied for fall 2014, I plan on attending a community college in Madison for fall 2014 and I'll just keep applying. So if I could get some suggestions for which is the best community school to attend for transferring, that'd be great!

UW Madison is pretty competitive for a public university but I think you have a chance.

Just wanted to update this…
I received all A’s first semester - 4.0 gpa.
I’m estimating that I’ll end up with a 3.8 at the end of spring 2014 semester.
All A’s and one B in BIO121
