In my essays I plan to talk about my passion for comp sci and how I taught myself a whole computer science course over the summer (after freshmen year) and later taught myself how to program in C++, among other topics. I did all of this independently and it was not required of me.

What are my chances? Also, do I have a chance at getting into Honors/Scholars?

Thanks!
