I just wanted to comment, chances aside, to let you know that you have one of the most appealing resumes I've come across on CC. It's well organized as well as incredibly strong. Perhaps most impressively, it shows that you're very well rounded, but not aimlessly so...there are clear patterns. Too often, people with such wide-ranging involvement and accomplishments come across as "jacks of all trades, masters of none," but I didn't get that feeling at all from your info. I really am impressed. I'm certainly no admissions officer, but I'm used to checking out the "Chances" threads on CC and it's certainly notable that even without sky-rocketing test scores, you stood out from the pack as a truly passionate and well-rounded (as opposed to "I'm going to do a ton of stuff because it looks good on paper") person.

It looks to me like any school will be lucky to have you. You're correct in calling your ACT the weakest part of your application, but it's nothing that will kick you out of the running for the schools you list, especially given the rest of your achievements. Good luck with the test this Saturday! May I ask why you didn't try the SAT?

My background/instincts say pretty definitely in at USC, very good shot at Claremont. I don't know enough about the other schools to say. Very good shot at UCLA, as well, although they're notoriously a bit unpredictable.

Best of luck :)

thanks so much that is all very encouraging, i did try the SAT unfortuntely it was the week i broke my spine and due to lots of pain killers did not score very well.:) I liked the ACT better though

30 is definitely not a bad score at all!!!!!

thank you. somtimes it is too easy to get caught up in all the cc hype.

Tufts and Gtown are your reaches. The rest are matches. Good list! Good luck.

update on sat II's i got a 710 on lit not terrible

I believe your reaches are:
Boston College
Georgetown
Claremont
Tufts

Good/safe pick
NYU
USC
American

Don't know because they seemingly have no admission policy:
UCLA
George Washington

haha yeah at least im in state for ucla

Might want to look at Holy Cross-1 hour from Boston. HC is a smaller version of Boston College as both schools are Jesuit. HC has great alumni network and recruits students of all faiths.
