Rank: none, but around top 2 or 3 %
Classes: most rigorous (total 14 APs)
School: public, competitive in chicagoland area</p>

<p>EC:
- 3 year varsity fencing (captain, Most Improved Fencer Award)
Individually: (these tournaments have about 50-60 fencers per event)
- 3rd at 2007 Midwest High School Championships
- 2nd at Great Lakes High School Championships
- 3rd at Catholic Memorial Invite
- Qualified and Fenced at North American Cups, Summer Nationals, Junior Olympics (all national events)
Team:
- 2006 and 2007 Boys Midwest High School Champions (sorta equivalent to state but includes or states as well due to lack of popularity)</p>

<p>Several fencing coaches said they'd support my application. This is different from recruiting. How much influence do you think a coach can have on the admissions process? With that in mind, how do you think I'll do with the colleges above? Thanks a bunch.</p>
