chances, if you wouldn't mind

Hey everyone, I applied to Rice under ID and I was wondering what you thought of my chances of getting into the Engineering school.

white male, AZ

-SAT I: 1450 (760 V 690 M)
-ACT: 34
-SAT II: Math IIC 740, Writing 740, Chemistry 640

-Rank: 39/715
-GPA(weighted): 4.19 (unweighted like 3.7-8)

-AP scores: US HIST-5 (planning on taking about 4 more by end of year)
-taking most challenging classes available

National Merit Semifinalist (hopefully progressing further on that one)
National Achievement in Writing award (one of 600-odd seniors in nation to recieve this)
1st and 2nd place medalist in state Academic Decathlon
trumpet player in school, community, and independent orchestras/bands/drum corps/etc. for 7 years
NHS
top 10% in state math contest
music tutor at elementary schools
avid racquetballer/artist/writer

2 excellent recommendations, pretty good essay, intriguing (to say the least) box

I had a great interview (if it even really counts, it seemed awfully informal) on the campus and did an overnight stay as well, so I think I showed a good deal of enthusiasm for attending the school.

You seem to have a good chance. I know someone with similar stats who got into engineering. Anyway, I hope they view you as a strong candidat, because my test scores uncannily resemble yours... I also applied ID, but for sciences.
At any rate,
best of luck!

ID isn't binding right?

nope it's not binding.
