I fell in love with Rice U.

oh man. it almost kinda sux.

i applied ID to Rice, cuz i heard it's good and this and that(you know.. 'facts'). i didnt really know much about the school.
then today, i had an interview(it's too late for ID but i still wanted just because i wanna get to know Rice).
I had such a 'blast' and i am loving Rice U.. i can not explain it.

i am just regreting my somewhat careless application(yeah.. shame on me) and a lack of interest showing... -_- i am looking for Rice's bioengineering and a BA/MD combined program.. but at a same time, my english scores(SAT1 verbal and SAT2 writing) are truly low.. man.. i duno even know what to do.

so what is a point of this thread? i dunno, i.. just thought it would be nice to let you guys know .. that

bye

why does RICE U have to be so dorky as I am !!! :D

ohkay. a question. i am from a big -notgood- public hs. i have great GPA, extra curricula, lovely recommendation, and (not SO great, but) good essay.
however the biggest downside of my resume is the SAT verbal score. i got a flat 500. i've been in the state for 4yr. (and i saw many internationals or ones in a similar situation still managed to get thrilling scores!) . your advice is needed , thanks.

i, too, regretted not putting too much effort into my ID app. sigh, oh well.

the 500 may hurt you, but if everything else is top-notch, i think it should be fine.. but what do i know? haha, i'm just another applicant like you
