Chances in admission to NU?

Hi everyone. Currently, I am a rising senior, and my dream school is Northeastern University. My family and friends are always telling me I can’t get in with the scores and extracurricular activities I have, which makes me really concerned. I wouldn’t even mind getting into the NU.in program, but I need to know that I have a chance in getting accepted. Do you think what I have will be good enough?

Unlikely for your scores.

Reach

not even the nu.in program?

Reach for regular admission, high match (?) for NUIn.

Just keep studying the SAT and taking the test over again and again until you nail it. The scores are super-scored, so don’t worry about getting lower scores. If you get your test scores up, you will have a MUCH better chance. Don’t give up!

Also, don’t worry about your family and friends. What do they know? With a better SAT score, you will have a good shot at it.

And finally, don’t bother with the subject tests or writing tests, since they don’t count one bit.

thank you!!

Subject tests don’t count at all. But you won’t be able to superscore the old test with the new one. Sorry about that.

And good luck!

Update: ACT is 29 composite
