Hopefully I can show some diversity in my essay - i'm going to write about music and psychology and how music can help peoples lives and how it has inspired mine. Also how working in hospice and combining music has showed me about music and healing.

I'm also planning on doing interviews in addition to sending in music audition recordings which, in my case, should help.

...and wow sorry about writing so much, but those are my stats. I'm planning on applying to either really top academic schools, conservatories, or combo programs like Johns Hopkins/Peabody and NEC/Tufts. But who knows. Based on my stats, where do I stand? Do I have a chance at any ivies even if my SAT scores aren't great? As far as that goes, i'm gonna try to get my CR score in the 600s and my math up some more. Just let me know of some schools that I might have a chance at. Thanks :-)
