Chances in MS Computer Science programs

Looking at terminal MS CS programs. Here are my stats:

I graduated from a decent state school, but not well known outside of mid-atlantic area
GPA: 3.8
GRE Verbal: 680 Quant: 800 Writing: 5
Great recommendation letters (2 from profs, 1 from work supervisor)
Two summer internships during college at well known software companies
Have 2 years of industry experience as a software engineer for a large defense contractor

Do I have a shot at top CS schools (Stanford, CMU, Georgia Tech)? I'm only looking for terminal MS, so I figure my lack of research shouldn't matter much. Plus I have some years of industry experience. I'm not sure if top CS programs are within my reach though.

Your lack of research experience may still be an issue, but you have a shot at the schools you’ve mentioned because MS programs are so much easier to get into because they are unfunded.

I think CMU, MIT and Berkeley are always going to be difficult. After that, Stanford and GA Tech, also with other tops sound in the zone. Not reason not to apply to any you are interested in that I can see.
