<p>i live in texas/</p>

<p>my current school is competitive. only 160 total in my class.</p>

<p>im pretty sure im not top 10% with a 3.6-7 gpa. weighted
im a junior this year. taking AP US Hist and AP english.</p>

<p>and my SAT scores isnt good. took a practice got around 1600 something</p>

<p>what is the aveagre SAT score you need for UT austin if not in top 10%</p>

<p>What if you were top 10% what SAT scores do you still need?</p>

<p>I think the average is a little over 1800. You should take it again and aim for around 1900-2000 if not in the top 10%, or at least hit the average. I don't think even the 10% is really going to work anymore so if you're not in the top 10% it'll be even harder.</p>

<p>It's definitely a reach. Still, retake the SAT and apply. You're instate so that helps.</p>
