<p>I applied ED to George Washington University and I'm freaking out over results so I thought I would come here....</p>

<p>3.47 GPA
26 ACT</p>

<p>Student Council VP
Executive Yearbook Editor
Coordinated a mission trip to Africa and spent time in clinics and orphanages there
Volunteered on a senate campaign
Comp. Dancer for 7 years, captain of team for 2
Teaches dance class for special needs children
Leadership Committee (its like link crew basically)
Religious ed. teacher for 4 years
Camp Counselor for 4 years</p>

<p>I attend a very prestigious school in my area and I am also from an area where GW doesn't get a lot of applicants.... I know my stats aren't great but it's my dream school because I want to go into International Business or Law and their Elliott School is perfect for that.</p>

<p>No way. Your GPA is sub-par and your act is… ED won’t help much with your stats. Start applying for safety schools.</p>

<p>I think that it is a low reach. You might get deferred in which case try to retake and study more for the act or SATs. Yor ECs are good, and you say that you’re from a unique area… So if your essays and recs are suberb then you just may get in! Don’t give up hope- best of luck!</p>
