What do you think my chances are for Smeal with an intended major of accounting, I know its competitive. If I included summer would that increase my chances?

@seiw654 Summer ALWAYS increases your chances. So does applying DUS, but I’m not sure how the accounting major works…whether you can start DUS and then transition in later or if you need to start in accounting. Someone in Smeal or accepted to Smeal might be able to answer that part.

Apply DUS and check off that you are willing to do summer. To be eligible for entrance into Accounting major, a candidate must be enrolled in Smeal OR Division of Undergraduate Studies AND satisfy requirements for entrance into major. The requirements include a minimum GPA by the end of third semester and must take some required classes with a minimum grade of “C”. Google “PSU, entrance into major requirements”
