Chances? kind of a reach

<p>hey i’m really interested in going to bucknell next year. i visited last april(my great uncle is a prof. and showed me all around… =]) and will go again in the fall, see some classes, and i’m seriously considering ED. i know it’s a bit of a reach for me but if anyone had any suggestions they’d be much appriciated. i’d be applying as a chemistry major if that helps.</p>

eating disorder in 10th grade caused grades to be all Bs, junior year all As. class rank was 30th at the end of 10th grade so i’m assuming it’s better now.

Employment: CVS pharmacy technician(licensed) 15 hrs/week since i turned 16 and could get a job legally, babysitter at local gym 4 hrs/week for almost 2 years
Honors and Awards: natonal merit commended scholar(semifinalist?), awards in all 3 english classes taken 11th grade</p>

<p>i dont think bucknell is nearly as much of a reach as you might think, especially if do end up applying ed. you probably know your gpa is what is holding you back, but with your decent class rank, it likely wont hurt you too, too much. sats are great for bucknell. solid ecs. </p>

<p>id say your shot is better than 50/50 if you apply ed... a bit lower than that if you dont. either way, a pretty good match.</p>
