I'm just a parent with a daughter going to Bucknell in the fall. One thing that seems to be a common theme with Bucknell is to "show interest". I've know of kids who have great stats get waitlisted. One mom I know called and said my D got into Middlebury, how can you w/l her at Bucknell and the admissions office did admit that it was because her D never visited and did not show interest. They don't want to be used as a safety for the ivies. My D really did like Bucknell and I think it showed in her supplement and her additional music supplement for which she got scholarship money. So make sure they know you visited and show interest. Good luck.
