Hi all, I'm new but I saw many posts on chances for college admissions. So, first off I'd like to say I have a load of personal issues that have affected my highschool career mainly from family with a few medical ones that have been now taken care of. My GPA unweighted is a 2.7 with a high 3's weighted GPA. I take mainly only Honors and AP classes with only one regular credit being one math credit. I have an upward trend in my GPA over my highschool years that only goes up. Now, let me describe the school I attend: It's a public magnet school specializing in medical programs mine being Pre-Medical. It's a fairly new school (my freshman year was it's first year open), and it's highly selective with minimal admissions for students. My program alone accepts only 120 people at full capacity all 4 grades included. It is the top-ranked school in my entire district which is a one of largest in the nation. I have received a perfect score on my SAT (2400), and a near perfect score on my ACT (35). I have taken 5 AP exams: World History (4), U.S. History (5), English Lit./Comp. (I didn't take this particular class because my counselor put up a huge fight in giving it to me even though it was offered, and I still scored a 5 on this exam.), Psychology (5), and Comparative Government and Politics (5).

I'm involved in a several clubs within my school and have been since Sophomore year. They are Varsity Quiz Team, Forensics, and Medical Studies club. I was a state champion in Forensics my junior year for 3 events (both debate and speech events). I have held leadership positions in every one of those clubs: Vice President (2), Secretary (1), Treasurer, and President (this was in Forensics). I also participate in a program outside of school offered by a local employer that teaches students about applying for jobs and how to hold positions of leadership in real world settings, it touches on a few scholarship opportunities but mainly focuses on teaching students leadership. I work a job 5 days a week and volunteer mainly during summer to help local teachers move classroom supplies and furniture.

I have been dancing ballet for 9 years but recently quit as it interferes with my job, I've also studied art intensely and have won awards for my work. For a college I'm looking to attend a good university, no Ivy Leagues (that was never my goal or desire) but my top choice is University of San Francisco. Could anyone please let me know about my chances to get into that college and few others that might be good choices considering my highschool career? Thank you all who contribute.
