Chances/Personal Assistance

Before I post my scores and grades, I know some of you are going to probably say I'm stupid and what not. I promise I've done all I can in high school to put myself in the best situation possible, especially with some circumstances I am not comfortable explaining. I know some of you have high SATs in the 2000s, but unfortunately I'm not one of you, so I would please ask that you do not try to put me down based off your own comparison, that is not what I am here for. My chances aren't necessarily directly reflected from yours.

I have maintained a 3.86 weighted GPA (3.67 unweighted) during my freshman, sophomore, and junior years in high school. This first quarter of this senior year, I pulled out straight A's with a 4.3 weighted GPA (3.96 unweighted), consisting of a considerably difficult senior year schedule with multiple AP college courses. Every year of school my final GPA has increased .2, excluding my first quarter grades from this senior year.

Here comes the bad part. I have taken the SAT two times, and my composite score is a 1640 (1070 two part, yes I know it isn't amazing) and I recently just took the ACT and the score I received translates to about a 1110 two score, which is a 24 composite (25 math and 25 english), but I am just so worried that these SAT and ACT scores will defeat all my chances of getting into the colleges I would like to attend. I feel as if these test scores do not give the colleges an accurate perception of what I am capable of as a student.

As of now, I've applied to 3 universities as an undeclared major. I've applied Early Decision (binding) to Virginia Tech, the University of South Carolina, and James Madison University. Based off my test scores, I have been having zero confidence that any of these universities will admit me admission. Clearly, Virginia Tech is my first option and I've been stressing myself out because I have no confidence I will get in, and I seek your help to guide me in my ways of thinking. I feel as if my GPA is there, but that my SATs/ACT will overpower everything and will give me no shot at any of these schools.

Any thoughts? Thank you so much for your time!
