<p>I'm pretty sure you need to take at least 2 SAT Subject Tests for MCS, but I'd say your chances are very strong from the data that you posted. The SAT scores are great (congrats on the perfect writing, I haven't seen too many of those on this forum), your class rank puts you in the top 5%, and your ECs are impressive. Carnegie Mellon will like to see the research, but it's what you accomplish with your research that matters, not how many hours you put in (like for community services). Put in some concrete evidence (a lab report perhaps) of your research in your application, and it will really help.</p>
