<p>Not great since your out of state, 3.47 is not that competitive for ucla /ucb (but changes slightly for different majors) even if you were a cali resident.</p>

<p>this was a small experiment to let you guys know that everything is possible in this world and that no one here knows what the admissions committee takes into consideration when admitting students.... and 3.4 is not my GPA and im not Hispanic im asian but i do come from texas....</p>

<p>How exactly does this prove your point? You just contradicted yourself by saying that you in fact don't have a 3.4. Add the fact that everyone who replied pretty much said your chances aren't good. You should also keep in mind that the UCs don't even consider ethnicity as a factor in admissions.</p>
