Comments. EHS average SSAT is 2100 and I got 2073, can some help me in terms of the impact of that. And please can someone chance me! Someone please! I love all of the schools, but any comment is welcome!

If EHS has an average 2100 and you got 2073, and you have a 3.9 GPA… and with all of your other descriptions. You are fine.

Whereas a highly selective school like Lawrenceville may be less likely to accept a student with a low math score, it is not going to automatically take you out of the running at Episcopal, Mercersberg or WFS. And your SSAT score is not significantly lower that the EHS average, so don’t worry too much about that. You are involved in a wide range of activities and have great grades–you are going to make a contribution to any school you go to.

You’re also smart enough to know that no one can accurately Chance You. All we can do is say relax and hope for the best. Nothing you mentioned stands out as an absolute dealbreaker, so it will depend on what each school needs to fill its class.

@Albion and @Exeover,

I appreciate your comments. I understand fully to just relax. Sometimes you just post because this boarding school process is very intense and I really would love it if I got in, so that I could create my own brand, and be my own self. Thank You very much for your help!

Hello again,

Does anyone know if its better to have a long interview, or a short interview? This isn’t as obvious as it seems, because one could interpret having a long interview bad because the interviewer may find something bad about you that he/she wants to know more about, or one could see a long interview as something good because the interviewer may be intrigued by you. The same goes for a short interview.

Friend,

You’ve already accurately shown that both a short and a long interview can be good signs. When dealing with human behavior, there are simply too many variables to make predictive generalizations.

I know it’s hard to wait and not be able to do anything about it, but parsing minutia is just going to make you nuts. March 10 will come. In the meantime, re-invest yourself in school, friends, and activities. You’ve got a good shot at getting admitted somewhere; time to step away from CC and live your life! (easy for me to say, I know.)

Nicely said, Albion.
