Chances of A&M and UT Austin?

I'm a high school senior from Houston and I'm a South Korean who immigrated to the U.S. around 2002 and now a citizen as of August 2011.. I was hoping to find out my chances for college..

Ranked 42/846 APPX. (We also have a accelerated high school for GED and they include in our graduation appx. 100 more students making the total around 946~ appx.)

GPA: 3.9583 (With High School classes alone)
GPA: 3.9259 (With High School credit earned from Jr. High as well)

Over 200 hours in volunteer hours

Here is where I fall apart..

SAT:
Reading: 500
Math: 660
Writing: 490
Essay: 10

Total: 1650

ACT:
English: 16
Mathematics: 27
Reading: 19
Science: 25
Combined English/Writing: 17

Composite: 22

My dad is also a Baptist ministry senior pastor if that's a factor within the admission process..

Also not trying to sound geekish or anything, but I do have quite of an achievement within gaming, almost becoming USA WCG representative in 2010 as well as being a manager for several major teams around the world the past 5 years. Will college admission put this in to consideration if I put this in my essays? or just disregard it?

I did retake the ACT last month I'm still waiting for the results and SAT I was suppose to take today, but I was literally late by one minute they would not let me in to take it.

Any inputs will be appreciated about the chances of going to Texas A&M at College Station or University of Texas at Austin with full or some scholarship or any alternatives that I should look in to.

Edit: I forgot to include I'm aiming to major in Mechanical or Computer Engineering (Hardware related if possible) and my older sister got in to UT Dallas with most of her tuition paid for with no volunteer hours as well as a lower sat score of around 1500. (But I'm not sure how big of a difference is UTD and UT Austin, I'm pretty sure there is)

If you got to a public school and are in the top 9 percent for UT and top 10 percent for aTm you are automatically admitted. If you aren’t in state and don’t go to a public school you probably won’t get into UT and might get into aTm.

You should be in at both schools based on your school rank since you are from Houston. Just don’t miss the Dec 1st deadline for UT.

I should’ve included that the question was mainly about scholarship issues. Since my dad is a pastor he can’t really pay a tuition…

I suspect you will have to take loans.

What if I retake my act again on December (if my new act grades are not great) as well as sat in December? I know that the deadline for UT and A&M is on December the first, but will they consider it even if it’s after the deadline?

The scores don’t necessarily get you a scholarship at UT (not sure about A&M). Some of the programs like honors do which in turn are dependent on having much higher ranks and scores to get into them. If you can not get into them upfront, What you are looking for is income based financial aid which usually comes with loans.

If you want merit money, you should try lower tier schools in texas that look for you to be in top 20% as opposed to top 10%

I moved my Dubai, UAE. I joined almost 70% of school’s completion in the first semester of my sophomore year. since the absence was high, I could’nt receive credits for the first semester classes. Right now I am a junior and I take 5 AP classes and I hopefully will get a 1900 on my SAT. I will be taking 6 AP test on may,2012. and in my senior year I will be taking all AP and I will take 8 AP tests. I want to get into UT and major in Aeronautical engineering. my gpa by the end of my first semester of my senior year will be a flat 5.0 on a 6.0 scale. So what are my chances of getting into UT with this criteria??? And I also will be writing Essay C which will help tell my story and reason of why i have such low gpa. So please let me know if i will be accepted to UT. i graduate in 2013. It will be deeply appreciated if someone would answer this.
Thank You
