People here use the terms high/low reach, match, etc. I want to get people's opinions on what numerical % chance each term is associated with.

From what I understand, it goes something like this:

High reach: essentially a 1-in-a-100 shot, give or take
Reach (mid reach): 5-15% chance; it could happen, but it's kind of a crapshoot
Low reach: 20-30% chance; applicant has good stats, but due to selectivity of school, it's still unpredictable.

High match:35-40% chance; a solid shot of getting in
Match: Roughly 50-60%; a good fit for the applicant, but not a shoe-in
Low match: 65-80%+; not guaranteed, but an excellent chance

Safety: 100% or negligibly close; for all intents and purposes, guaranteed.

Is my understanding accurate? What do you guys think of it?
