Chances of admissions with a B in calculus first semester, otherwise perfect grades

I am starting to freak out because I got a B in calculus for my first semester, I should have gotten an A but I became lazy and focused on other areas.

I have received an A in all of my other core classes through out high school, taking the highest level courses available.

I applied early action and was deferred by MIT and Case Western. I applied regular action to Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, University of Michigan and the University of Pittsburgh.

My extracurriculars include NHS president, lead student member of FIRST robotics team, Internship at local engineering firm, fixes computers for school.

SAT Math level 1:740
Sat II Physics: 660

First time taking ACT: composite =30,English = 23, Math= 34,reading = 29, Science = 34
Second time taking ACT: composite = 30, English = 28, Math = 35, reading =30, science = 28

What do you think my chances are?

A b isn’t going to kill you…seriously it’s one letter grade in one class, theres more important things than a GPA lowering by .2

For being so good in math, you aren’t good at analyzing statistics of students who are admitted at the schools you mention. By your logic, only 4.0GPA students attend the top schools. Just not the case. Find out what else is evaluated.

I am worried that they will look at my application and think that I slacked off my senior year, and not want to accept me. I always heard that if your gpa goes down it looks really bad.
