I’m not sure if this is the right terminology… but is there a chance that someone’s acceptance to brandeis could be withdrawn because of poor final grades? I hear about it every now and then at other colleges but have never known anyone that it has actually happened to.
Granted, I’m not failing classes… just wondering how close brandeis is watching me.

Well, as long as you're not failing, you're fine. You just might want to give an explanation for a 'D' on your final school report, but anything else, don't worry.
Its extreeeeeeeeeeeemly rare for colleges to withdraw an offer of admission, unless you commit a murder, flunk all your courses in your senior year, or try and commit forgery or something!

Trust me, it's not that rare.
I think anything in the D range would elicit a letter of warning. Cs are fine as long as you finish out with a reasonable GPA. I finished senior year with a less-than-stellar GPA (warm weather + license + impending graduation = cutting classes ;)) and it's fine, just make sure you are in the 3 range.

THANKS stain and tejas! that was actually the answer i was looking for! haha.

I got accepted at brandeis mid year too, I am pretty sure I am going, thinking about Europe for the fall. I was worried about the final grades too, but I dont think they will withdraw unless you fail or receive D's in serious classes. Sorry this is a weird question Linnea, but is your last name Sage?
