Chances of Colgate admittance

HS GPA of 2.4 and College GPA of 3.62 with 69 credits amassed. However took two yrs. off and worked at a neuro science lab, did advertising/marketing for a sports agency, tutored students in Chemistry/math. But never took the SAT'S

What are my chances of getting into Colgate University?
PS: A person at Colgate said maybe they could waive the SAT'S for me because I have alot of credits.

Here is some information and a few statistics for you to consider in regards to Colgate:

if you didn't take the SAT before entering your first college, then you do not need to take it to apply for transfer admission. (this is regardless of your number of credits.)

the average college GPA for accepted transfer students is 3.6

the average acceptance rate for fall transfers is 23%, for spring acceptance the rate is 34%

Fall 2008 had 259 applications; 20 were accepted and 6 enrolled.

Spring 2008 had 53 applications; 20 were accepted and 6 enrolled.

Hope you find this helpful!

Over what time period is this? It looks like the transfer acceptance rate for Fall 2008 was 8%.

you are so right. I've sent out an email and will get the facts (stats) straightened out!

Alright. The long term average accept rate for spring is 34% and for fall is 23% but we have not had much room for transfers this past year so the rates are even lower.

Spring 2008: 53 applications, 11 accepts (20.75%), 6 enrolled (54.55%).
Fall 2008: 259 applications, 20 accepts (7.72%), 6 enrolled (30.00%).

I'm sorry for the confusion!
REMEMBER THOSE STATISTICS ARE FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS ONLY!
