Chances of CSULB, Humboldt, Fullerton, San Francisco State?

The good: total of 4 honors classes and 3 AP classes throughout high school.
3 years of a foreign language took up to pre calc in math, 2 years of performing art
Weighted overall gpa is 3.88 unweighted 3.6 I am in the top 10% of my class of 300
I have not taken my SAT, but I am planning to do very well. I study a ton.
played jv softball, and 1 year of cross country, have about 40 hours of volunteer work

The bad: My grades flucuate throughout my transcripts, was doing incredibly well until my second semester of junior year due to slacking off my gpa was at an all time low of a 2.9
Also one of my AP classes I took my freshmen year I did not take the second semester mainly because I was not prepared for that as a freshmen although I did receive a b+ in it the first semester.
I’ve earned 4 c’s 3 of them being in my junior year the rest of high school I earned all A’s and B’s

Currently I am in my senior year and my schedule is not rigorous this semester at all. I do not have math or science. Expository reading and writing class, gov/economics, wood shop, advanced pe, and computer literacy. All of which I am doing very well in. I can take more classes next semester if this would help my chances.
Anything else I can do to improve my chances?

CSU GPA? http://www.csumentor.com/planning/high_school/gpa_calculator.asp

All the Cal states base admissions on CSU GPA and SAT (Math+CR) or ACT composite score which is your eligibility index. You are then ranked by your major and EI.

Until you have your test scores, it is difficult to chance you based only your GPA (which looks competitive). SFSU and Humboldt look like solid match/safety schools. CSULB and CSU Fullerton will dependent upon your major and SAT scores. Make sure you fulfill the CSU a-g course requirements and get a good SAT score.

Good Luck.
