<p>Can anyone tell what are the chances of one getting into Duke if they got "Deferred" in ED. I am thinking it would be less likely to get in later. </p>

<p>In past years it’s been around 10% of deferees that get accepted RD.</p>
<p>yeah, probably like 700 people will get deferred, and 70 will be accepted. Maybe not 700 (I heard that somewhere) but you get what I mean. The ED acceptance rate doesn’t include the deferred -> accepted, so you could argue that the net acceptance goes up a bit because of this.</p>
