Chances of getting a 3.3 cumulative

I am a junior heading to be a senior in the fall. As of right now my cumulative GPA is a 2.68. I am really trying to get it to a 3.3. If i get nothing but a 3.5 or higher in my next 2 quarters is is possible to bring it up?

It all depends on how many classes you take, but I doubt it would get any higher then a 3.0. Know that colleges will only see the GPA you currently have though.

You have a GPA of 2.68 after 6 semesters. If you get a 4.0 in your seventh semester, your GPA will be [(2.68*6) + 4]/7, or 2.87.

This assumes that you’ll take the same number of courses in the fall as you’ve taken in your first 3 years of high school. If you take fewer courses, the increase in your GPA will be smaller. And no, it wouldn’t be any different if I figured it by quarters instead of by semesters.

I only will have 5 classes next year will that help?

Assuming you’ve been taking more than five classes per year before now, no. In fact, it will hurt.
