Chances of getting in, and questions about honors! [UNC, maryland, northwestern, Umich..etc.]

Hi! I’m completely overwhelmed and lost right now. I really want to know what my chances are of getting into these schools with what I have. I know what I have to offer is way too low for a lot of the schools below, but should I still try?

  6. University of Maryland, College Park (<-- want to try for honors program. Is their honors program very selective?)

GPA: unweighted - 3.5
weighted - 4.17

AP Calculus BC - have not taken ap test yet

AP Chem - have not taken ap test yet

3 years varsity golf
2 years ultimate frisbee

Job experience
Worker at an ice cream shop for 1 year - worked 20 hour/ week

Volunteer
tutoring kids (math/science)

Art - 10 years
Violin - 9 years - performed as a quartet from school for a summer

Red Cross - 3 years
Ultimate frisbee - 2 years (is technically a club at my school)

Northwestern and Michigan are reaches due to your GPA. The rest are low reaches and/or high matches.

NU, UMich, and UVa are likely reaches due to low GPA.

As others stated UVA UM and NU would be reaches. Others I think you have a chances although UNC is hard for OOS. Maryland I think you’ve got a solid chance.
