I've wanted to go to MIT since about the 5th grade, but now I'm afraid I have no chance of getting in. My grades started screwing up after my freshmen year when I moved from Japan to Singapore. The courses were slightly different which meant I couldn't take precalculus until my Junior year instead of sophomore year. I've always for as long as I remember, wanted to be a software engineer. I'm also an Eagle Scout, and had straight A's till 8th grade (doubt that's important). I do varsity track&field, american football, and rugby. Took courses like AutoCAD, 3D design and animation for 2 years, AP Computer Science A and B.

So my question is, if I buckle down and work harder, perhaps take a harder course load my senior year, get straight A's for the rest of my junior year, will I have a chance at all? My current GPA is only a 3.5...

Thanks all.
