Hi,
I just wanted to know what my chances could be for getting in to University of Toronto for the computer science course. I am really keen on joining the university but I’m afraid my predicted grades aren’t that great (that is partly my fault and party because I didn’t suck up to my teachers as much as others have).
My predicted grade is 36/45
My SAT score was 1350 (1370 superscore - 710 Math, 660 English)
IELTS score - 8.5 overall (9.0 speaking, 9.0 listening, 8.0 reading, 7.0 writing)
SAT Math level 2 subject test score - 680
I’m getting really worried because this is my dream university and my family is moving to Canada soon and I am almost desperate to get into this prestigious institution. The thing is that I truly believe in my abilities to do much better than my predicted grades on the final IB exams but because my predicted grades are lower than I perhaps deserve, I’m distraught that my chances of getting into the university have been greatly hampered.
In addition, it’s even more worrisome that they haven’t sent out decisions as of yet when all (barring one) of my classmates have gotten decisions.
Please do let me know what my realistic chances of getting in to the university are (for my sanity!)
