I’m applying to Auburn’s Fashion Merchandising program. My weighted gpa is 3.182, I’ve taken 9 AP/ honors classes. I’m in several clubs- costume crew for 3 years, thespian’s society for 2 years, community relations for 1 year, Fellowship of christian students 1 year, rachel’s eagles 1 year-, and am the president of my school’s DECA program. I volunteer outside of school at a soup kitchen once a month, I have done jv swim for 4 years, and have worked for 3 years. I am out of state. I scored a 25 on the ACTs and aN 1800 on the SATs. Do I stand a chance at being accepted?

Honestly, those are really good credentials. I applied to Auburn for its first round of admissions (now) and I’m still waiting for a decision. My GPA is around a 2.8 and I got a 23 on the ACT (Auburn’s really a stretch for me), so I’ll keep you updated on what happens to me because if I get in, I don’t see why they wouldn’t accept you since your extra curriculars, GPA, and ACT score is better than mine. Keep at it!

I am out of state too. I have a 4.33 overall weighted gpa which is a little higher than yours, but your test scores are way better than mine. I got accepted through early action, so I’m sure you’ll get accepted as well!!! Let me know the results when you find out!! Goodluck!! War eagle!!!

Just got my letter of acceptance!

Congratulations! Did you find out online? If so, under “Application Preference”, did it say anything other than “Not Entered” under it?

I got a letter but it reads that I’ve been accepted online as well
