Chances of getting in?

Hey guys! As some of you may know, the decisions for the Undergraduate year come out in February 8th. I'm pretty much counting the days down, and am pretty nervous. I feel a bit paranoid that I have not taken a rigorous enough schedule for my Senior year and that it might impact my chance of being accepted. Here's my overall High School transcript/resume:

So, what do you think? Also, how do you feel about my senior schedule? I fear that it might be lacking in rigor..

My weighted GPA as of now is 4.9583, my unweighted is 3.6731
I am ranked 10 of 383 in my school.

Sounds average. Can you calculate your UF GPA? Provide AP scores?

Academic only. Add .5 to all honors and add 1 to all AP/IB/DE. (Do not count AP/IB/DE as honors).

I have nothing to back this up, but I’ve heard UF really only cares about the vigor of your senior schedule if they’re deciding whether to put you on the waitlist or outright deny you. If you’re in, you’re in, provided you don’t fail anything your senior year.
Personally, I think you’re looking pretty good! The C/D grade combo I see during sophomore year is a big red flag, but other than that you’re looking pretty average academically and testing-wise. You should be fine! UF loves holistics, though. Did you do anything else in high school? Work, sports, church activities, something? They like to see that you don’t just go home from school and do homework, UF loves kids who go do after-school things consistently. Clubs are cool, but they only meet about once a month or once a week at best, which doesn’t really demonstrate dedication.

Overall, you’re looking pretty solid! Try not to stress out, okay? I remember that feeling, and it was horrible!

Thanks man…To be honest, I am stressing about a bit, and feeling a bit paranoid about not taking another AP class or two. Thank you for the input though! I’ve done soccer for a year, the same year we won districts. I’ve also done NHS for two years. I know, it was probably the worst grade I have ever received in my entire school career. It was a really tough class, but I felt that it shaped me in a way. Anyways, thanks again!

UF: Match

Do you have a safety or an acceptance letter?

To OP or anyone----
Can anyone please explain to me the following-

Hooks: Hispanic, very low income

How can being Hispanic be a hook? The applicant never chose his parents thus the applicant had no control over being Hispanic…

How can, very low income also be a hook ? So if an applicants parents turned out to be unemployed or underemployed their entire life, this should help out the applicant?

In my world, possibly being a proud Cuban-American, or proud Nicaraguan-American or a proud Puerto Rican with educated wealthy, productive parents would be considered “A HOOK”!

It’s considered a hook because it means I’m an URM, and I’ve seen on other forums consider low income as hooks as well. This is only based on my observations of what others consider hook.

Yeah, I’ve been accepted to UCF and FSU already. To me though it’s like UF or bust, I’m only really interested in UF.
