chances of getting in?

I'm a junior right now. My combined SATs are a 2000- 690 CR, 650 M, and 660 writing. I didn't take the ACTs but I plan on it before I apply. Same for subject tests. I took AP history this year and all my other academic classes were honors. My GPA is a 3.75 unweighted, and I was in the top 7% of my class as of last year (and my rank either went up or stayed the same I'm certain). I am involved in drama club, science league, student council, interact club, Peer Assisted Leaders, Helping Hands (tutoring), and outside of school a dance competition team, girl scouts, community theater, and community service at churches. I'm also in National Honor Society and have a varsity letter for academics.
I know there is no way to know for sure, but looking around it seems like my chances of getting in aren't as good as I hoped. I'm not planning on applying ed, but now I'm thinking maybe I should. Any thoughts?

What school within NYU are you planning on applying to?

Stats wise you are pretty much the average applicant so you should have a good chance. You could ED if NYU is one of your top choices, it definitely will help.

The college of arts and sciences. I will probably major in psychology, but if I don’t it will definitely be within that school.

Isn’t psych a steinhardt course?

psych is in CAS, applied psych is in steinhardt

Looks like a low match, if you write a good essay. I got in with pretty similar stats even though my essay wasn’t very impressive.

I had very similar SATs and GPA as you do and applied to CAS regular decision. I got accepted into Liberal Studies.

Sorry I forgot about this. Thanks everyone.=) LSP would be fine with me, lol
