Chances of getting into an Architecture School...

...if my current school doesn't offer that major.

I'm a freshman at UC Irvine in my second quarter (undeclared) and decided that I want to become an architect. I'm serious about doing this, however, I'm a little worried about what colleges to apply to. For example, just because I'm at a university with no architecture does that mean any university will accept me for their program, like Cornell?

I really do want to go one of the best colleges for undergraduate architecture, most likely University of Texas, Austin or CalPoly SLO. But I wanna know my chances since I have a low G.P.A due to failing chemistry first quarter (which I am making up for this quarter). But other than that my grades are A-'s so far and I hope to end up with a at least an A, B, B, C grade in my second quarter. Can they reject me even though I have to do architecture-specific classes at their campus and I'm already wasting my time and money at another school?

I would appreciate any replies, thanks.
