Not too impressive I know but just let me know your thoughts and what I can do to get to the Ivy level. Thanks alot!
What have you done that separates you apart from the rest of thr applicants. What’s your passion?
Knowing people who have gone through trough process of admission and gotten in, it helps alot to tell the admissions committee what your passionate about.
I won’t speak specifically to ivy’s, but the thing that’s going to hold you back from top colleges at this point is test taking ability. Your uw gpa is already very good, so make sure you study hard for the SAT/ACT and get an early take your junior year so you have time for retakes. Keep your grades up while doing this as well. An 1100 on the PSAT means you have some work to do, but you getting acceptances to great schools is still attainable for someone with your abilities. Do you know whereabouts your 3.85 puts you in terms of rank?
My school doesn’t release rankings but I’d imagine I’m pretty up there. Do you have any advice regarding of extra curricula or activities outside of school? Appreciate it.
Thanks. What else can I do to set myself apart and look better? What did your friends do that really made their applications impressive?
I think your ECs look fine. Use your time to get better test scores; this will get you further than any EC could.
You do Football and leadership activities, and those are busy, so now focus on bringing up those scores!
