I’m applying as a freshman and I got a 25 on the ACT and I have a 3.64 gpa
I’ve taken a few ap/dp classes and am taking all college classes this year.
I do sports and am in one club. I also have work/volunteer experience.
I’m worried I have found two errors in my essay and spelled psychology as psyhcology on the application
Hi annaleigh. You probably already know this, but your GPA looks okay, and your ACT score is at about the 25th percentile for CU. Admissions are also impacted by your desired major. For example, for the Leeds business school, the 25th to 75th percentile for last year’s class was, I believe, an ACT score of 27 to 31. But a lot of applicants who do not get admitted into their desired major are still accepted into the College of Arts & Sciences. That’s what happened with my son, who had a similar ACT score and a bit lower GPA than you. So I think you have a very good chance for admission to CU, but perhaps not directly into your particular major of choice.
Go to CU website. Click on Admissions. Then click on Selection Process over to the right. You’ll see the stats for overall freshman class, and then you can click on the individual colleges and it gives you the stats for each one.
