Chances of Getting Into Florida Atlantic University or University of North Florida

Hey all, I really want to go to FAU or UNF and I'd like to know my chances of getting in from someone familiar with these colleges.

-3.2 Unweighted GPA (School doesn't offer APs)
-1520 on SAT: 560 Math, 510 Writing, 450 Reading (I'm really going to try and raise this one)
-3 Letters of Rec
-Over 100 hrs. Community Service and worked the same spring job since freshman year

Thanks!

You have a solid chance at FAU:

Entering Freshmen Class Mid-Range Test Scores:

Fall 2014
ACT: 22-26 SAT (all 3 sections): 1520-1730
Entering Freshmen Class Mid-Range GPA: 3.44 - 4.19

Summer 2014
ACT: 20-23 SAT (all 3 sections): 1410 -1580
Entering Freshmen Class Mid-Range GPA: 3.28 -3.92

http://www.fau.edu/admissions/freshmanreq.php

Make sure you’ve taken all the required High School Units and try to improve your reading score.

UNF may be a reach. You’ll need to improve your SAT reading score, and UNF will need to feel you’ve taken a rigorous course load (based on what classes where available at your school).

Freshman Fall Acceptance Rate 44.3%
Average Freshman GPA 3.94
Average Freshman SAT 1215 (M+CR)

http://www.unf.edu/admissions/apply/Freshman_Profile.aspx

Most of the Florida Public universities use rolling admissions, so you can apply as early as September and have a result by November.

Good Luck!
