<p>I was just wondering what my chances were of getting into Florida Universities. I'm a junior right now.</p>
<p>GPA: 3.6
Grades: I have all A's and B's
SAT/ACT: I just took got the scores for my first SAT and i got a 590 for writing, 550 for math and a 540 for reading, I plan to take it alot more times and Im taking my first ACT in two months.
Classes: I've taken 2 honors english classes (sophomore and junior year), 4 years of spanish, my senior year (next year) is the first year I am taking AP classes (I dont know if it matters at that point) ill be taking AP chemistry, AP calculus, AP government and a duel enrollment english class.
Volunteer Hours: 200+
Clubs: Future Educators Association (10th grade), Future Business Leaders of America (11th & hopefully 12th grade), Key Club (11th and hopefully 12th grade), National Art Honor Society(11th grade), and I manage the boys varsity soccer team (10th, 11th, and hopefully 12th grade) I also got a job this year
Sports: JV volleyball Freshman Year, Varsity Volleyball sophomore, junior, and hopefully senior year.</p>

<p>By difficulty in getting accepted, it goes UF>FSU>UCF/USF>FAU</p>
<p>With your current GPA/test scores, you could view FAU as a safety.</p>
<p>You need to shoot for close to an 1800 on your SAT. This will help you gain admittance to all of the other schools. It will also help give you a shot at a merit scholarship at FAU, UCF and USF. If you haven’t spent much time studying for the SAT, spend the time over the summer and you should see a significant improvement. Make sure you take the next SAT early in the fall, in time to get your new test scores to each of these schools.</p>
<p>UF will be your toughest target. UF is more sensitive about your class ranking and course rigor. If you didn’t take many of the hardest courses offered at your school that can hurt your chances. The holistic admissions process can also seem rather random. Either way, nothing you can do about it now! Focus on keeping your grades up this spring and then work to improve your SAT. Also, continue with your EC’s over the summer (including your job; that counts too!).</p>
