I REALLY want to get into hofstra univesity.

Right now im a sophomore in highschool.I took 2 honors classes last year as well as Spanish 1. Now I'm taking Spanish 2, and I'm taking honors chemestry next year. I'm really interested I'm history or biology for a major. I play lacrosse for
my school and do community service at my church. I have a gpa of 3.0, but im not very good at math (I'm retaking algebra 1).

What are my chances of getting in?

What can I improve on?

Where else should consider for school?

as it stands of course

Come on! Can’t anybody help? Even alittle bit?

you are a sophomore, dont worry about that yet…
Take hard classes and focus on maintaining a good GPA, you still got like two years until you really need to worry about that.

Btw, you must get a better GPA, colleges like to see upward tendency.

Make sure you raise your GPA throughout the next two years. Hofstra isn’t hard to tackle, you’ll get in, just keep consistent grades and do well on your SAT.

Thanks alot! And i don’t actually know what my current GPA is, but that was mine from last year. I was a bit of a “slacker” last year, but I’m
doing pretty good right now (except math, I’ve got a c+)
but thanks again for helping

And also, do you think Syracuse would be reasonable if I improved my gpa?
