That’s what I use. I know Roux, but I prefer Fridrich, it’s just a lot easier to grasp and once you have look ahead, it’s just as fast as any other method.

It’s not as good for Least Amount of Moves solves, but it’s fast.

Yeah. I can’t solve rubix cube for my life

Fifty years ago, the world record was like a month to solve one. Now it’s 5 seconds.

Okay, sorry for hijacking this thread guys, I’ll let you get back to your discussion. :)

Guys…less than a month of waiting left

More specifically, 26 days :)

Just thinking about IMSA gives me the jitters. I’m so scared to get that letter. I’m pretty sure that once I get it, I’ll probably be too scared to open it up hahaha

Now that you mention it, 3 and a half weeks is a mighty short amount of time. I just felt my heart drop :1

It’s actually a pretty long time… for me at least. I don’t think I can survive that long… also, we obviously won’t get it exactly that day. I’ll probably get mine in about 2 days or more since I live like 2 hours away from IMSA.

I live like 6 hours away from IMSA :D

I live an hour away

Welp, looks like I’m the farthest. What do I win?

Well you actually have the greatest chance of getting in since you’re the furthest away… So you’re the luckiest actually. The closest you are, the harder it is to get in.

Yup, I’m aware of that. Geographic quotas, eh?

You’re so Canadian haha. You’re actually so lucky though.

The funny thing about me saying “eh” is that I really never did it until a few months ago. I just suddenly started like it’s a latent Canadian attribute. And no, we don’t pronounce about as “aboot”.

I guess I am lucky though. I know that if I lived up in the Chicago area, there’d be no way of me getting in.

Oh please, don’t say that. If you lived here, you’ll still be able to get in. BUT NOW YOU FEEL MY PAIN. I live only 2 hours away from IMSA so it’ll be a lot harder for me to get in. :(

I don’t think so. What you’ve told me about your application seems pretty solid. It really can’t be THAT competitive there.

Not that it’s harder to get in if you’re closer, of course. I know that that’s true. What I mean is that it shouldn’t matter for you.
