Chances of getting into IMSA?

Okay you guys, I’m actually going to start crying. I can’t want a month and two days. This is actually torture.

Here’s a nice little Calendar/Clock that you can use to keep track of time:<a href=“Countdown Timer – Time since May 15, 2014 started in Chicago”>Countdown Timer – Time since May 15, 2014 started in Chicago;

I wouldn’t worry about it, jtfootball. A month goes by fast and you can focus on other things until then!

THAT CLOCK IS ACTUALLY PERFECTION. Way to not help me cope with my impatience haha. I’ll probably be staring at this clock forever. Thanks for it though.

I honestly thought it would help, haha! I’ve had it going for weeks now and it’s good to see time ticking by. Only a few measly weeks to go before letters are mailed!

Also, if you guys are feeling unsure about your application, I felt the same exact way when I got my first SAT score. I did really bad, and I was like no way I will make it. Now I’m still doubtful, but my SAT improved by a ton! So, don’t doubt yourselves now because 1) the applications are already turned in so if you put in your best effort, that’s more than enough and 2) I’m sure you guys did amazingful and the IMSA people will love you guys :slight_smile:

Thanks! It’s my dream to go to IMSA and I really hope my best is enough to get in :)

I know, same! Let’s talk about some less depressing things. Do you guys like watching sports, playing sports, etc.? I’m a real sporty person. What kind of music do you guys like?

Yeah. I’m into sports. The a Bulls, Bears, Hawks and sox

Sports that I like? Well, I like hockey but I really don’t play it :D.

Erm, I’m also into speedsolving Rubik’s Cubes, if you can consider that a sport.

I love football, as you could probably imagine. If I were a boy, I would definitely play. I watch every sport other than golf because ew. Juxwyrm, are you Canadian? Lol, I had to ask.

@jtfootball‌ You’re a girl?

As a matter of fact, I hold a dual citizenship! I was born hear in the United States but I lived in Canada for most of my childhood.

I speedsolve. What’s your PB?

10 seconds on a 2x2, 25 seconds on a 3x3, 30 minutes on a 7x7. I’m not very good because I just started a few months ago. I’m trying to learn all of the OLL and PLL algorithms right now.

I have a Megaminx but I haven’t timed myself on that. Maybe 7 minutes?

That’s around mine. 6 on 2x2, 20ish on 3x3, 2 hours on 7x7 XD.

What’s your 3x3 main?

I use a sticklerless Dayan Guhong, but I want to get a Moyu Weilong sometime.

Yeah I am @tigerman333‌, and you two are like my whole math class! That’s actually crazy @jxuwyrm‌, I’m so smart.

You really just have to practice a lot, haha!

Weilongs are so fast, it’s ridiculous.

I got obsessed like a couple years ago, so I got a huge number of cubes, and then gave it up for a couple years, and restarted like last month with another bunch of cubes.

I use a OP zhanchi fully modded. Turns like a dream.
We sound so nerdy discussing this…

I don’t think jtfootball nor tigerman have any idea what we’re talking about. But yeah, Weilongs are pretty amazing from what I hear.

I’m going to assume you solve CFOP/Fridrich Method? It’s what I myself, and the majority of the cubing population, uses. I’ve tried ZZ and Roux but I really can’t grasp it.
