Chances of getting into Ivies?

After talking with friends at school and looking at some profiles on this website, I have begun to wonder whether it is even worthwhile for me to apply to schools such as Harvard, Penn or Cornell. I do feel I have a strong selection of saftey schools, but since my parent's are requiring me to pay for application fees myself, I would like to limit my school selection to ones that I feel I may have a chance at.

2100 SAT I 730 Math 710 Reading 660 Writing
SAT II- 750 US History, 740 Math II, 710 Physics
GPA- 4.4 (although I think colleges consider my school to inflate gpas)
AP US- 5
AP Euro- 4
AP Calc AB/BC- 4

Main extracurriculars:
JV and varsity Baseball
Work experience
Volunteered at Asian Art Museum (recieving a supplemental recc from here)
Helped restore world war 2 victory ship (volunteer)
National Student Leadership Conference
Attended 3 years at a UC Berkeley Summer program

I am also Armenian, and whether that helps, hurts, or his no impact I have no idea as I hear different things from different people on whether race plays a factor into admissions.

Basically, I would just like to get anyone's opinion on whether they thing that I have a chance of getting into some of these schools and whether I should bother applying. Neither my test scores or EC's seem likely to blow anyone away. It would be especially helpful if someone who actually did recieve admission into some Ivies would be willing to give a brief description of their profile and what they felt helped distinguish them and gain admission.
I will appreciate any response or advice that you guys give me! thanks

hmm. don't think you should listen to those friends.
as for cornell, that shouldn't be a problem.
harvard... you have a 50-50 chance.

-ms. russel

hey does mmm stand for mean median mode? Was it a computer program that you had to do?

Slim chance at Cornell and Penn, no chance at Harvard

I'd say you have a chance at all of those.
Go for it.

Your GPA confuses me. Is that weighted or unweighted? Your SATS are a bit low for Harvard but certainly competitive at both Penn and Cornell. Cornell might even be a "fit" as opposed to a reach. Play up your extra curriculars and get some more leadership on your app; immediately become leader of a club--or make one: "the restoration club." If you do apply to harvard, take a big-time risk with the essay. Write something bold and controversial--something that the admission officers will hate or love. I'd say you've got 5% at Harvard, 15% at Penn and 50% at Cornell. If your financial situation allows it, you may also apply for a fee-waiver.

the gpa is weighted. But honors and AP classes at my school counts as 5.0 as opposed to 4.66 or whatever it may be at private schools. thanks for the essay advice, I also felt that my essay to harvard should try to be something completely different.
