Chances of getting into LSU?

Hi,
I want to got to either Louisiana state university or the university of new orleans. I have a 24 on my act. In 9th and 10th grade i had a 4.0 gpa. The first semester of 11th grade i had both a’s and b’s, so i ended up with a 3.38. My SECOND semester of 11th grade, i had c’s and one D. My GPA is still a 3.5, so I was wondering if that would completely ruin my chances of getting in. I am a high school junior right now.

dosnt LSU have rolling admissions... with a 3.0 and a 1030 on your SAT i think you are guaranteed admissions.. you know anything about that?
Well i want to apply to LSU as well im a junior. My stats are a little lower (3.0 gpa however its been in the increase whis is a pro and my SAT i have not taken yet, hopefully i score well, lol) so yea just private message me if you find out anything bout that...

LSU states their assured admissions table there...

To the OP: A large public university like LSU is very numbers driven. They will probably just look at the gpa without scanning the transcript looking for low grades. The website that andrewcarta posted (you have to remove the space in the middle of it) would indicate that you are in good shape.

ea i think he does have a chance but it depends on what they mean by assured admission

He doesn't have a chance. He is guaranteed in.

what about myself with a low 3.0 and a 1050 on the SAT?

You should all be okay. You are typically guaranteed admission with the right numbers. Check the table listed and if you have those numbers you will get in. My father, grandfather, and uncle all went to LSU so I was raised a tiger (even though I ultimately picked another school). They all love it to this day.
