Chances of getting into MiT or CMU

Hello everyone. This is my first time on the forum.

I have some questions regarding getting into MiT and CmU. These are both schools that I would love to get into. Here is how my transcript is likely to end up.

FRESHMAN YEAR (cirriculum 1's which are not quite honors but modify weighted GPA by one pt I think at my school. My high school is very competitive)

Algebra (A-)
Introductory Physics (B)
World Literature I (A-)
World History I (A-)

SOPHOMORE YEAR

Algebra (B)
Chemistry (A-)
World Literature II (B)
World History II (B)

JUNIOR YEAR

Trig/Precal (A)
Biology (A)
US Literature (A)
US History (A)
French (A)
Engineering elective (A)

SENIOR YEAR

Calculus (A)
Physics senior elective (A)
Engineering elective (A)
French (A)

Extracurriculars:

Travel (Not just any travel but the educational kind, sightseeing, learning about countries' histories and art, etc)

Chess club

Designing things

Also I really enjoy learning via the MiT open course ware. Will this help my chances?

Thanks

Any real chances will need more info, like your SAT and ACT with breakdowns and your GPA (weighted and unweighted), and any hooks (e.g. legacy, first-generation, etc) you have.

From what I can tell you so far, things aren’t looking good, especially if you have no AP classes, and 3 extracurriculars.

Using MiT open course ware will do nothing to your chances.
