I am an African American girl with a 4.04 weighted GPA. I am an officer of a club and I am in an honor society and I do a couple of other clubs. I do some volunteer work and I am a Spanish Tutor. I recently took the ACT and got a 27 composite score. I took the SAT as well but I have yet to receive my score. I plan on double majoring in Chemistry and Spanish, both subjects in which I have received many awards. I am afraid I will not get in because my GPA is not that strong, and neither is my ACT score. Also my extra-curricular activities are limited, as you can see. I already applied for NC State, but I want to know whether I should be prepared to be rejected. What are my chances of getting in?

I am also out of state (washington), so I know that even further decreases my chances. I took the SAT again and got a 2030. I also have a sister that goes to NC state, so does that help? She is white and a senior and will most likely be an alumnus.
