Chances of getting into Northwestern?

Northwestern is definitely one of my top schools and I would really like to be accepted. I want to major in Neuroscience and I’m aiming for the premedical scholars program.

I have a 33 ACT and 3.71/4.0 GPA. I am a full IB student and I’ve already gotten a 6 on SL Math and SL Chemistry, and I will be receiving the IB diploma at the end of this year. I am a National Merit Semifinalist and part of the National Honor Society. My senior year course load is pretty rigorous I’m also graduating early (skipped my sophomore year).

My extracurriculars include volunteering at hospitals and at my local library, rock climbing, swim team, and other volunteer work. I played cello for 4 years and played in an orchestra too. I also had an internship at University of Colorado over the summer doing research on radiation oncology, and I feel that it’s definitely my most impressive extracurricular.

What are my chances of getting into Northwestern for RD? Thanks!

Low reach would be my guess. NU is so competitive especially in the RD pool. Good luck.

I agree with @anonymous26 NU filled 50 percent of their freshman class through ED. So it’s going to be tough but you’ve got a chance nonetheless.
